DOWNLOAD ::: Etta Bond ‘Boring B*tches’ & Emergency Room EP

I was going to start off by saying you’ll recognise Etta’s voice from her vocals on Wretch 32’s ‘forgiveness’ but you could be forgiven for not realising that as song ‘Boring B*tches’ is as far away from what was expected of Etta and is a much rowdier sound. We’ve got Labrinth to thank for bringing the songress to our attention and it was at Notting Hill Arts Club that I spotted the singer getting down on it and I asked what we could expect of her new material… alas she wasn’t giving anything away other than a polite skank after a Kreayshawn gig.

This track has a grimey feel to it & pretty much details my entire party lifestyle: Getting hot and heavy on the dance floor and having too much of a mental time to even realise people are watching you with horrified stares. This is perfect rave music to shake a leg to, mosh around to and easily whip your hair back and forth, it also features the one of Britain’s best female MC’s Lady Leshurr with some truthful and hilarious remarks on women’s abilities to go out dressed like they’re made of money but really they’re just broke ass b*tches. As a serial raver, you’ll find me across London at underground raves just as much as partying hard at a West London club.

This song mocks fun at those posers that need to stop acting like Chelsea birds and need to let go on the dance floor. There are some amazing lyrics throughout the song with references to ‘grey goose in my veins,’ (that’s vodka to those not in the know) ‘white boy wasted,’ and ‘she should be here sitting down, acting like a lady!’ The video is just as funny and entertaining as the track with video clips of drunk men, dutty wining videos, booty popping, dry humping, 90′s ravers and bedroom dancers. I was almost certain that one of my dancing videos would surface, so cheers Etta for not putting my madness moves in your video, although you’ve only got to ask and I would happily obliged.  ‘Boring B*tches’ should carry a warning because I can’t stress that if you enjoy bassy and dub stepping beats, you’ll have this on repeat.

For more equally catchy tracks, you should go and download the free E.P known as ‘Emergency Room.’
