DOWNLOAD ::: The Goods EP

I don’t know if it’s just me but lately I’ve found it hard to distinguish between the UK and US sound, which I think can only be a good thing. Back in the day the UK scene was best known for its Garage & Pop but here’s a group known as ‘The Goods’ that are proving that we really can bring the R ‘n’ B to in turn produce the goods. We spy that’s where Leonidas, Duncsuei, Verb and Roman got their name from. Mixing soulful vocals and catchy raps, their self-titled EP is worth a listen and a half.

‘Friends Again’ has to be our favourite from the EP because we’re a sucker for a slow one. You can’t help but feel a little sad for a guy that has his heart broken. Not convinced, need something with a bit more bass? Well read on, sounding very Kayne West ‘All of the lights,’ ‘Gotta go in’ is an ambitious,  makes you want to march track, all about making that money. We’re feeling the mix of T- Pain vocals too!

‘Poppin’ is another catchy track that bigs the group up… did we ever say that we like confidence? The song features a clappy, go hard or go home beat.

Roman said of their latest creations, “We found our sound.  The message I personally wanted to get across with our music is to keep the listeners living positive but true to themselves.”

You’ll like these North London based hotties if you’re a sucker for Trey Songz, J. Cole, Bobby Valentino, Drake, Wale or Tinie Tempah, and with their combination of Hip Hop,  R ‘n’ B, US and UK influences, we’d say ‘The Goods’ EP is as impressive as any American best seller.
