If pictures speak a thousand words, I dread to think what the above would say..
So Wireless, how bloody good was Wireless?! We saw Modestep tear the Pepsi Tent stage apart. The crowd were going absolutely nuts, they were very well received. Other acts that got the crowd going were Knife Party, Pro Dot, Ms Dynamite and of course Deadmau5!
It seemed peculiar that such an established artist like Ms Dynamite would be so early in the bill, but regardless she pulled the crowd over from Main Stage and Pepsi Stage, and the crowd went absolutely mental. Her set kept the crowd jumping and singing along the entire time, especially on the album tracks that feature the likes of Jessie J and Magnetic Man, the crowd didn’t stop for a second.
Deadmau5 had his headline set that was massive, he had a full 2 hour slot but the crowd seemed to keep attention for the most part. The most impressive may have been the number of make-shift Deadmau5 helmets, some ranging to oversized ping-pong balls with glow sticks on.
All in all, a great day for music and fans, absolutely loved the festival and am definitely glad I was there on Friday when there was actually grass in Hyde Park.
