LIVE REVIEW ::: NINA NESBITT ::: THE BOWERY

Standing in a packed out Bowery, 17 year old Nina Nesbitt was sitting comfortably at number 6 in the album chart and number 38 in the singles chart.

An independent, unsigned artist who has self released her own material with striking similarities of “The Ed Sheeran Method” who’s non stop music bravery paved the way before her.

It cannot go unmentioned that a Mr Jake Gosling ties these two artists neatly together. The platinum selling producer not only has an eye for talented artists but also has carefully constructed an incredible formula with some of the UK scenes hottest talent.

Her EP “The Apple Tree” is rawly upbeat with catching guitar rifts and beautiful glimpses of her Scottish roots throughout.

Nesbitt is shy yet quietly commanding of her audience. It’s the inner grace and edgy poise that hold you whilst her music talks.

Watching the music industry’s A&R’s look on, scurrying between ear whispering conversations and excitable hand gestures. The future is looking incredibly bright for Nina.

Her music is down to earth, with solid foundations and up beat charm. The last time I saw an artist so close to hitting the mainstream was when Ed Sheeran played The Bedford and we all know what happened after that. The rest is history.
