UNSIGNED ::: Being Buffalo

A big thanks to fellow writer / absolute diamond Vicky Gottschalk for introducing me to ‘Being Buffalo’. So apart from being an all round suave looking bugger, Thom George is a pretty top notch singer! Accompanied by Emily Lambros, another beautifully talented singer they create an amazing cover of Westlife’s ‘When You’re Looking Like That’.

So this was just the start, if 1/3rd of Being Buffalo are that good, you agree it’s a no-brainer to check them out as a whole band.

Bit of background, Being Buffalo was originally started by Thom George and Matt Child, they recorded their own DIY album this time last year which came out in Nov 11 called “Before We Fall Apart”. So I went on to check out the YouTube channel and hear the amazing track ‘Defend Our Night’, but equally important, saw a New Single Announcement with a 30 second teaser.

So with a single release just round the corner, a new album and a UK tour early next year. There is a lot going on for Being Buffalo.

I look forward to see what the future brings for this young, bright group banding together to create a unique, diverse and memorable sound.
