UNSIGNED ::: Hologram

Rarely do I find a band that immediately grabs my attention and leaves me wanting more from one song. It’s always good to have a few songs to work with to gauge an acts sound, but Hologram had me at ‘Touch and Go’.

The 4 piece made up of Adam (Guitars / Vocals), Pete (Bass), Michael (drums) and Paul (Piano / Vocals) debut with this incredible song that left me inclined to get in touch straight away. The more I dug, the more I found an impressive background. Paul Shevlin won the award of ‘Next Brit Thing’ this year and teamed with the Belfast boys soon after creating this original sound.

Hologram hit the studio last month to begin work on their second single and follow up to the featured track. Even the video is great, a simple concept, that most importantly doesn’t take any focus away from the music, which in this day and age is a rarity.

The Alt-Rock genre is very fitting for the band but I have to say if you check out their YouTube Channel there’s a solo performance of ‘Touch and Go’ on piano which really shows that these guys are an act that can perform incredibly live.

Needless to say, these guys need to come on down to London, play a few shows and get an interview on board with me before the blow up, talent like this doesn’t stay unsigned for long.
