WE LOVE ::: Josh Kumra’s ‘Wildest Moments’ (Jessie Ware cover)

Every so often there is an artist that comes along that you just can’t help but fall in love with. Since his introduction to the mainstream world via his vocals on the Wretch 32 number one smash hit ‘Don’t Go’, Josh Kumra has continued to build on this success and establish himself as a credible artist in his own right. Always on the road gigging and touring, Josh really is an example for all up and coming artists who want to know the real answer to success.

What really stands out with Josh is that even with his busy touring and recording schedule he still manages to maintain that connection with his ever expanding fan-base. Whether it’s his tweets, Instagram posts or Facebook page updates it really does feel as though he is welcoming fans along on his journey. At the core of all of this, his YouTube videos always exude his passion and love for music. This couldn’t be demonstrated anymore than on his latest video where he takes on the amazing Jessie Ware’s ‘Wildest Moments’. Skillful on the guitar with silky smooth vocals, Josh does what he does best creating an emotive 4.5 mins worth of viewing as he puts his own spin on one of the most popular tracks from Jessie Ware’s ‘Devotion’ album.

Currently touring with Nina Nesbitt and then heading straight onto tour with Delilah, there really is no stopping the extremely talented Mr Kumra.

In my humble opinion the term ‘one to watch’ is often overused but after seeing Josh’s development over the past year I cannot think of a more fitting term to describe him. With a new single release due to be announced very soon, the rest of 2012 and on into 2013 is looking very promising indeed.
