Just when it seemed there was little room for another female vocalist on the UK music scene, Natalie Duncan comes along and proves there’s always enough room for talent. Accompanied by a sinister, yet beautifully directed, video, ‘Find Me A Home’ comes from Natalie’s debut album Devil In Me which is available to buy RIGHT NOW.
What with artists like Adele, Paloma Faith and Ellie Goulding flying the flag for UK female vocalists, it’s hard to stand out in an industry so dominated by such powerful voices; you either have to pull a Lady Gaga and wow the crowds with your dramatic wardrobe choices or do exactly what Natalie Duncan has done and astound the audience the moment you open your mouth. It’s hard not to fall in love with this lady as soon as you hear her voice given that she is talent personified. Smashing a performance on Jools Holland just recently, Natalie is proving that she’s got exactly what it takes to wow the crowd…and there’s not a steak dress in sight.
It’s not just us at IAmMusic that are completely blown away by Natalie’s talents but the likes of Magnetic Man, Goldie and Lenzman are also raving about this new girl on the block.
Plus, she’s covered ‘At Last’ by Etta James and done it complete justice. There’s not many who can say that they’ve pulled off a song originally sung by the Queen of the Blues.
Natalie is going to be smashing up the airwaves/speakers/stages around London over the next couple of months so I’d definitely get your tickets ASAP as I can guarantee you’re going to be seeing a lot more of Ms. Duncan.
