WE LOVE ::: The Erratic Man ‘Back In The Day’

Stop whatever it is you’re doing, turn your speakers up LOUD and get listening to this track…I promise you, you WILL not regret it…well, you might regret the video, but you’ll certainly be grooving to the song within no time.

This is the perfect mood lifter, the saviour to my Tuesday night blues and although the video is one of the most eccentric things I’ve seen since I saw a man walk into Topshop, Brighton and browse the female shoe section with thick bicycle chains strategically placed around his body, this song is my new favourite thing. It’s upbeat, it puts a smile on your face and the lyrics are really lovely. You’ll love it if Casio keyboards are your thing…or even if they’re not, you should still listen to it.

The Erratic Man a.k.a Infadels & Rinocerose frontman Bnann is no stranger to the music industry and has completely smashed it to pieces with this single; gaining inspiration from the birth of his baby, Bnann sat down one day in his bedroom and began writing exactly how his little bundle of joy made him feel. Once this process was complete (or close too, I imagine that sort of emotion lasts an eternity), he then joined forces with his Infadel bandmate, Matt, and they set to work creating ‘Back In The Day’…and a bloomin’ good job they’ve done too.

This song is like the vintage Biba leather jacket you find hung up in a charity shop or the record player sat amongst dusty books in a junk store: a total classic, a complete one-off and an amazing find.
